🛠️ TacPad Update v1.10222025.1 — Refinements & Future Upgrades
The latest TacPad update (v1.10222025.1) is now live! This version focuses on polishing existing features, improving compatibility with previous builds, and laying the groundwork for upcoming power-management options.
🔹 What’s New

Added “_” (underscore) to the keyboard — now you can enter Wi-Fi passwords, usernames, and custom entries that require underscores without switching devices.

Fixed a bug in the Add-On Options screen affecting earlier TacPad units — the menu now loads properly across all supported devices and versions.
🚧 Future Plans
We’re continuing to evolve the TacPad to make it faster, smarter, and more power-efficient:

Screen Brightness Controls: A dedicated brightness adjustment screen is in development for fine-tuning display levels.

Sleep Mode: Based on user feedback, we’re exploring a quick-wake sleep feature. It will reduce the long boot time on startup and help extend battery life during idle periods.

Flashlight Review: Since the current hardware includes a built-in flashlight, we’re evaluating whether to keep or repurpose this feature in future firmware updates.
